16 DAYS - 15 NIGHTS ( YANGON - THANLYIN - MANDALAY - AMARAPURA - MINGUN - AVA - SAG - MONYWA - MT. PHO WUN - POPA - BAGAN - INLE - SANGHA - PINDAYA - TAUNG GYI - YANGON )

 

DAY 01; YANGON/ARR

On arrival of your travelling in Myanmar, your guide will pick you up with wonderful smile and pleasant greeting introduction at the Yangon International Airport. Then, go straight to your hotel where you stay. Karaweik Hall, Kandawgyi Park; a nice shady for health and recreation for everyone, Sule pagoda and Strand road, Chaina Town and downtown and Shwedagon pagoda are the sightseeing of your first day to travel in Myanmar. Have a good night with Yangon atmosphere.

 

DAY 02; YANGON - THANLYIN -YANGON

On the way to Thanlyin, have a visit National Races Village. Thanlyin shows the 18th century history. The old buildings still stand in evidence of the days of Portuguese occupation. The worth visiting, the ruins of an old Portuguese Church built during 18th century, the Sacred Heart Church dated 1870 by a French missionary and so on. Have a good night in Yangon.

 

DAY 03; YANGON - MANDALAY - AMARAPURA - MINGUN

Fly to Mandalay in the morning. Mahamuni Buddha Image has the face washing ceremony at every early morning. Enjoy in offering food at the Mahagandayone monastery interests you like a magnet. Travel in the most famous Shwenandaw monastery(Golden monastery), Kuthodaw pagoda(With the world biggest book), Atumashi monastery and the places of making gold leaves and silk weaving houses. It is worth to see our four kinds of Greats, Splendid Mingun Pathowdawgyi, Mingun Bell, The Great old Lion (about 13th century) and the great lake or well by King Bodawpaya. Back to Amarapura and have a walk on the U Being Bridge and feel how the merit of our Old Burma man U Bein. Have a wonderful night in Mandalay.

 

DAY 04; MANDALAY - AVA - SAGAING

Boat trip to Ava and you can also try on horse carts in Ava. Sagaing is famous for the amount of monasteries and nunneries and the strange structure pagoda Kaunghmudaw. Besides, see how to make silver wears of local people and try on the real silver wears. Visit to Sagaingh hill and Soonooponenyashin pagoda. Sleep well in Mandalay.

 

DAY 05; MANDALAY - MONYWA

Take your car to Monywa for about 3 hours. After that, visit some villages and monastery. Although my writing sightseeing is very short, you can see a lot of interesting people and places for today in Myanmar.

 

DAY 06; MONYWA – MT. PHO WUN – MONYWA

Then, your guide will arrange you hire a car to Mt. Pho Wun about 45 minutes. Visit the Mt. Pho Wun, million Buddhas and thousand of Bodhi (Bo) trees with Buddha statues. Study how to make lacquer ware at Kyauk Kar village and how to make scanted sticks and blooms, Monywa market , blanket making house and Laeti monastery are included in your sightseeing. The world biggest standing Buddha Image shows how somebody has to feel after his or her death if the one did evil. Thanbudde Buddha Images and one thousand Bo trees are seen in your sightseeing. One night in Monywa.

DAY 07; MONYWA - POKAKKU - BAGAN - POPA

Drive to Pakokku for 3 hours. Stop on the way to see Ma U A Lae Village. Where you will see how they make scented sticks for the believers who offer them to our Lord Buddha by firing these scented sticks for nice smell. Then go straight to Jetty to take the ferry boat to Bagan. As soon as you arrive, drive to Mt Popa. Popa is said "The Mountain of Spirits" by myanmar people. Dream at nice Resort of Popa.

 

DAY 08; POPA - BAGAN

Morning visit to Mt. Popa. After that, drive to Bagan. People say 'you are not a real myanmar if you haven't been to Bagan' one another. The place where the real myanmar lives, the real cultures have, the real accent say, and the most interesting histories are there. Visit a lacquer ware work shop. Sleep well in Bagan.

 

DAY 09; BAGAN

People say 'you are not a real myanmar if you haven't been to Bagan' one another. The place where the real myanmar lives, the real cultures have, the real accent say, and the most interesting histories are there. Have a nice dream in Bagan. Shwezigone, Kyan Sit Thar U Min, Gu Pyauk Gyi, Htilo Minlo, Shwe Gu Gyi, Arnanda, Manuha, Nan Paya and Myin Kha Bar Gu Pyauk Gyi pagodas and temples are famous to visit. Sunset at Shwe San Daw pagoda. Nice dream in Bagan.

 

DAY 10; BAGAN - INLE

With AM flight to Inle. It is famous for its floating market, villages on water, beds for vegetables, flowers and one leg-rowers. Phaung Daw Oo pagoda, Inn Paw Khon and Nga Phe Chaung monastery are included in your sightseeing. Have a good night in floating and dreaming hotel.

 

DAY 11; SANGHA (INLE)

You would be on the water town for the whole day by feeling fresh across Inle lake and see the former pagodas of King Alongpaya (the third founder of Myanmar). Sleep well in Inle Lake.

 

DAY 12; KALAW

Drive about 2 hours form Nyaung Shwe to Kalaw. Half day trekking along the local tribes villages and see the natural lives of their. You could have a chat and tea with local people. Have a good night in Hill town Kalaw.

 

DAY 13; PINDAYA

Take your car to Pindaya, natural marvelous cave with wonders and a place where the Umbrellas and Shan Traditional papers are made. Well sleep in Pindaya hill town.

 

DAY 14; PINDAYA - TAUNG GYI

Drive about 1 and half hours to Taunggyi. Taunggyi means the big mountain. According it's name, the town is hugged by big mountains. The tobacco industry and view from the Mt. are very nice in your sightseeing. Feel wonderful fresh air and the local tribes market and unbelievable making Wine. One night in Taunggyi.

 

DAY 15; TAUNG GYI - YANGON

Back to Yangon with morning flight. Visit Bogyoke market and spend on your own leisure. Sleep with Yangon Atmosphere.

 

DAY 16; YANGON/DEP

Bring a lot of marvelous emotion form Myanmar concerning as you travel and back with taking a lot of your family and friends.
